An interesting game for JapaneseGolden Kings (5-1) which played road game in Manila against 4th ranked Filipino Bolts (2-3). First ranked Golden Kings had an easy win 89-71 . Ryukyu made 16-of-18 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Victor Law (201-1995, college: Northwestern, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and American-Japanese center Alex Kirk (211-1991, college: N.Mexico, agency: Pensack Sports) who added 19 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. Five Golden Kings players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American-Filipino Clifford Hodge (196-1988, college: HPU) with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Filipino-American guard Chris Newsome (187-1990, college: Georgetown, KY) scored 12 points and 5 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ryukyu maintains first position with 5-1 record, which they share with Hiroshima D. Meralco Bolts at the other side keep the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with Suwon KT.
